Resolved - Kindly note that Sprint's engineers resolved this incident. SMS Messages are being processed as expected by the carrier.

Identified - Omnilert has been informed that Sprint PCS is experiencing issues with SMS delivery in their network. Carrier engineers are working to resolve the issue for their customers.

Impact on Service: SMS recipients on the Sprint network may experience delayed/dropped SMS. (***NOTE: Other carriers are not impacted.***)

Incident start time: 09/15/2017 @ approx 07:50 AM ET

We will update this thread if/when more information becomes available or the carrier resolves the issue on their end.

Resolved - This issue has been resolved by our downstream partners. Omnilert has tested and confirmed that voice calls are now processing normally without delay.

Investigating - Omnilert engineers are investigating an issue delivering voice calls. Delivery of voice calls is currently affected by intermittent connectivity issues to our downstream partners.

Impact on Services: Delivery of voice calls may be delayed or dropped. (Other delivery channels are unaffected.)

Omnilert engineers are actively working with voice messaging partners to correct the issue. We will update this site when more information becomes available.

Scheduled - Omnilert has been informed that the carrier US Cellular will be performing a planned maintenance on their infrastructure as per the below schedule. This maintenance will impact the delivery of SMS to recipients on the carrier network for "US Cellular" only. (Other mobile carriers are not affected.)

Affected Service(s): SMS Messaging

Market: US

Expected Impact: The carrier has advised that there will be a total loss of SMS traffic to US Cellular during 15 minutes at any time during the maintenance window.

Estimated Duration: 3 Hours (between 2 AM and 5 AM ET)
